Background: The most often fractured bone among the tarsal bones is calcaneum. first assessment of suspected calcaneum fracture conventional radiography. modern calcaneal fractures mainly based on multidetector computed tomography, because its three-dimensional nature and Volume rendering techniques. objective this study was to compare diagnostic value Multidetector CT with Conventional radiography in Calcaneal taking operative data as reference standard. Methods: patients for were subjected tomographic imaging results compared terms Sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative Diagnostic accuracy, operative/MRI findings Results: We included 68 cases our specificity accuracy 92.6%, 33.33%, 82.3% 98.3%, 71.4%, 95.5% MDCT respectively. Conclusions: settled that far ahead complete depiction, diagnosis, characterization treatment formulation fractures.
